Provides a holistic overview of how electricity is produced, delivered, and managed, including power electronics, machines and supply technologies, grid optimization and control, grid planning, markets, and regulation. Students apply the material covered to consider critical challenges associated with global energy systems, including electrification, decarbonization, resilience, and load growth. Students taking graduate version complete different assignments.
